What these nine guides answer

This independent fan guide leads with direct answers for nine repeatable Blue Prince room tasks: moving water, matching chess pieces, routing steam, decoding Gallery paintings, opening the Secret Garden, calculating the dartboard, ordering Tomb statues, setting the Clock Tower, and solving the Parlor boxes.

Use the search box for a room name, object, or symptom. Every guide puts the actionable step first and keeps version-sensitive or random behavior beside its evidence links. Mechanism drawings are original schematics, not screenshots, and do not replace reading the in-game bars, clues, or statements.

Pump room: Pool drain is not the same as Reservoir drain

The pump room guide treats the Pool and Reservoir as separate drain tasks that share one panel. For the Pool, return controls to neutral, select Pool, confirm Tank 1 has room, then use P4 Up. The Reserve section covers the steam-powered Tank 1 ↔ Reserve route.

Chess and boiler: state checks before guesses

The chess guide maps today’s drafted rooms to pieces; the boiler guide separates activating the three feeds from tracing a continuous steam duct. An old chess layout or a guessed pipe rotation cannot substitute for the current board or visible feedback.

Gallery, Garden, and Dartboard

The Gallery guide gives THINK, PONDER, REALIZE, and RUMINATE. The Secret Garden guide covers the random key and wind-vane lever. The dartboard guide explains color math from the bullseye outward, including the modifier symbols that cause late-run mistakes.
